The performer explains how squaring a circle has been considered a mathematical impossibility for ages, but for a magician all most nothing is impossible. Then he displays a square made of metal strips. Holding the square in front of him, the magician instantly transforms it into a circle, then back into a square, and so on as often as he wishes. This is good solid platform and stage magic!
This is perfect for children performers and MC’s. Have a child helper come up on stage and show him/her the circle and as you hand it to them, it magically changes into a square. Speaking from experience, the reaction is pure bliss. Then, as you take the square back, it changes back into a circle. The reaction from the audience is something to behold. At the end it can be changed into a diamond.
Can be repeated as often as you like. A terrific gag!
